We had a great spring meeting at Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club the weather was sunny and warmed up through the day, ideal conditions for golf.
On the course there were some great golf played with the winner being Doug Hill from Leominster Golf Club new captain and his first time out with us. Doug won the competition with 39 points from second place Gyn Biffin of the Herefordshire Golf Club with 37 points.
The best veteran was Ken Hayman with 32 points and the best very veteran was Tony Clements with a 36 points.
Nearest the pin on the signature 6th hole was Anthony Green and there were four twos, Malcolm Williams and Tony Clements with one each and two for Jamie Griffiths, one of which was on a par 4.
