Congratulations to the prize winners at the Spring Meeting, held at The Shropshire GC on Friday 19th April. The field was slightly reduced with the announcement that no buggies would be available, however, 30 golfers took to the course in fine weather for an enjoyable round of golf. It has to be said that the fairways and greens were in excellent condition and very well presented.
Golf was followed by an excellent meal provided by The Shropshire GC. I must thank The Shropshire for their hospitality, especially granting us the courtesy of the course. In current times this is becoming a rare gesture from golf clubs and is very much appreciated. Thank you The Shropshire GC and, thanks also to our member Wyn Jenkins for liaising with the club on our behalf.
